The Process and Policies

 

  • Request an appointment online through this site or any social media platform.

  • An invoice for a $100 non-refundable deposit will be sent via email to reserve that requested date and time slot. This amount will be applied to the full session fee. The remaining balance will be due on the day of the session. Please submit your deposit within 24 hours otherwise that date will become available to others.

  • At this time please let us know of any requests or add-ons (hair and makeup, additional time and/or additional looks.) If you require additional time for your session that exceeds the included time allotment, the fee is $100 per hour. If more than 5 looks is needed, you can add on extra looks for $100 each. Each additional look includes one image retouch.

    Hair and Makeup Option: We have a trusted, well-curated and certified in-house team that works cohesively in making you look your absolute best. 1-hour of prep time is included when booking with our in-house makeup artist. You will submit payment directly to the makeup artist on the day of the session via cash, zelle or venmo. We also are aware that you may have your preferred artists too, if so please add-on the “Additional Time - 1 Hour” option to your session so that your artist can come and do your makeup within the studio, (all Covid precautions and safety will still apply.) Otherwise please be hair and makeup ready when you arrive at your session. More information about makeup can be found in the ‘Headshot Prep’ section of this site as well.

    $175 (2 or 3 Looks)

    $200 (4 or 5 Looks)

    Hair and Makeup for Men and Youth:

    $150 (2 or 3 Looks)

  • Out of mutual respect, please commit to your session. We all lead busy lives and time is valuable more than ever. We promise you 100% if you commit in allowing us to do so. We also are aware that life can shift our schedules from time to time. With a 2-day (48-hour) advance notice, we can reschedule your session to a later date and time. Anything after that will be considered a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited. You will need to submit another deposit to secure a session in the future.

  • As your appointment approaches, we will consult via email or phone to discuss your proposed outcome for the session as well as preparation and details.

  • Your photo session day has come! Arrive at the studio on-time, prepared, well-rested and ready to conquer! If you requested makeup, your time of beautification / grooming will begin at the start of your session. Before any images are taken, we will do a quick run-through of the session expectations, wardrobe, etc. The studio address is:

The studio is between Cabrillo Ave and Grandview Drive. 2 blocks east of where the 710 North freeway ends. Free street parking along Valley Blvd. Amenities in the studio include: Restroom; Controlled Climate; Makeup Station; Clothes Rack; Clothes Steamer; Changing Room; Drink & Beverage Station; Indoor & Outdoor Lounge Areas.

  • After a fun and successful session, all of your proofs are uploaded to a photo-sharing site for viewing, downloading and sharing within 48 hours of your session.

  • Select your favorite images for final retouching / editing. All retouching will be minimal and will strive for complete naturalism. Your headshots will be a literal representation of you and how you looked that day of the session. You will digitally receive high resolution print and lower resolution versions for these final retouches. Typical turn-around for this is 3-5 days.

  • If you would like additional retouching done to other images from our session, each image will be $25. An invoice will be sent prior to any retouching jobs.

  • I can suggest a few local vendors that do a great printing job for your 8x10 headshots. It’s always a great idea to have extra physical prints on hand!

  • Once you have your final edits… upload, post and submit your new headshots for the world to take notice! You’re one more step closer to even more recognition and future bookings!
